This guide provides insight on how to use and access the Land Records via computers in the Tulsa City-County Library. For more in-depth instruction or assistance in interpreting search results you will need to visit or contact the Tulsa County Assessor's Office.

WHAT ARE THE TULSA COUNTY LAND RECORDS?
This is a collection of databases created and maintained by the Tulsa County Assessor's Office and the Land Records Department of the Tulsa County Clerk's Office. The Land Records contain information about properties in Tulsa County.

WHAT SERVICES DOES THE LAND RECORDS DEPARTMENT PROVIDE?
The Tulsa County Land Records Department maintains all documents filed which pertain to real estate. This department also handles requests from the public on ownership information and legal descriptions of real estate. The Land Records Department can provide homeowners with a Property Ownership Statement to make application for Homestead Exemption with the County Assessor's Office. Application can be made throughout the year.

The Tulsa County Land Records Department has records back to statehood (1907); though, there are some filings back as far as 1903.  Records previous to 1972 are filed in books by legal description of the land. Records from 1972 to present are on computer. Documents can be copied or printed for $1.00 per page.  Digital copies can be emailed for a fee.  

CAN I ACCESS THE LAND RECORDS FROM HOME?
Property Search is available from home. To access other Land Records databases from home you must subscribe through the Tulsa County Clerk's office. To set up a personal paid subscription account call (918) 596-5206.

HOW DO I ACCESS THE LAND RECORDS AT THE LIBRARY?
Access to the Land Records is available for free at all Tulsa City-County Libraries. Customers with a valid library card may search the Land Records on computers with Internet access.

GETTING STARTED @ THE LIBRARY 
Use your valid library card to login on an appropriate computer.
From the Tulsa City-County Library home page at http://www.tulsalibrary.org select the Research & Learn tab.  Click on the "T" in the Alphabetical List of Resources box to jump down to the databases that begin with a T.

Tulsa County Land Records is a collection of databases.  Which database you use depends on what information you need. 

• Property Search
  Find out the physical characteristics of a house and the property value.  Records also contain a property's legal description, parcel number, mailing address, millage and other information.  Access from home.
  
  
• Oncore Web Public Search
  Find liens, deeds, and mortgages (instruments) associated with a property.  Some ownership records in the system date back to 1907.  Access from all libraries.
  
  
• Tulsa View
  Central Library Research Center and Hardesty Regional Library have access to TulsaView, an annually-published CD-ROM that combines mapping software with land record information.  Call the AskUs Hotline at 918.549.7322 to find out more about Tulsa View.
