How To Participate

Sign up at any of our 24 Tulsa City-County Libraries or online!

The program begins on May 31. When you register, you'll receive a reading log.

You do not need a library card
to participate!

Important Dates

Sunday, May 1: Preregistration begins.

Register by May 30: To be entered in a drawing for a Kindle Fire.

Tuesday, May 31: The Summer Reading Program begins! Visit your neighborhood library to register and start logging your books, or register online and print your reading log. If you already have an account, sign in here.

Monday, June 20: The first day you can submit your completed reading log to get your messenger bag and coupons.

Register by June 30: To be entered in a drawing for a family four pack of OKC Thunder tickets for their Oct. 13 exhibition game at Tulsa's BOK Center.

2016 Adult Summer Reading Program

Join the Summer Reading Program!

Preregistration starts Sunday, May 1. Register at your neighborhood library or online.

The program starts May 31 through August 6.

For adults ages 16 & up (16 & 17 year olds can choose to participate in the Teen/Tween or the Adult program).

Read or Listen to four books by Aug. 6 to complete the program and win a Tulsa City-County Library messenger bag and coupons for free treats from our sponsors.

Enjoy special events to complement the Summer Reading Program. 

Read or listen to books you check out from the library, ones you 
borrow from a friend, download to your ereader, 
or pull off your bookshelves at home!

 

What You Get

For reading or listening to four books before August 6, those who register and complete the Adult Summer Reading Program will earn coupons for free food and a cool messenger bag in one of five colors (while supplies last)!
