Live Online Help for Adults

Adult Learning Center

Live Tutoring & Skill Building to master academic skills through live, one-to-one lessons in math, reading, writing and more. Available 2pm-11pm, 7 days a week.

Expert Writing Assistance to help adult customers produce better business letters, term papers, or any other piece of writing.

Test Prep Center provides 24/7 access to hundreds of tests, including GED tests, skills assessments, and a U.S. Citizenship Test course.

Library Databases for Basic Skills

Math, reading, writing, and more.  You will need your library card number to open these when not in a library.

  • Brainfuse Adult Learning Center
    Use our live one-on-one tutoring, the practice test center, and online resources to help you achieve your learning and career goals.

    Work on basic reading, writing, and math. Take on advanced language arts or calculus. Live coaching available 2p.m. - 11pm, 7 days a week. Other aspects available 24/7.
  • Learning Express
    Adult Learning Center from Learning Express offers busy adults the resources to improve their reading, writing, and math skills. It also includes GED® Test preparation and U.S. citizenship preparation.
  • Universal Class
    Offers online classes taught by dedicated instructors. The General Education category covers such areas as math, writing, science, grammar, history, vocabulary and more.

Learning is its own reward! Build your brain and learn something new with these great resources.

  • Mango Languages
    Choose from more than 30 languages. Learn by listening to native speakers and engaging in the interactive lessons offered through this user-friendly language instruction tool.
  • Universal Class
    Continuing education service designed specifically for use by public library patrons. Courses in GED, fitness, entrepreneurship, arts and music, home and garden care, cooking, computers and technology, health, homeschooling, job assistance, law, ESL, parenting, pet care plus 100’s more.
