What should I ask?

An interview is a two-way street.  Ask questions. The employer will typically provide an opportunity for you to ask questions at or near the end of the interview.

Examples include:

What would a typical day be like for me at this position?

Is there opportunity for growth in your company?

What is the next step in the interview process?

What happens next?

General Guidelines:

  • Take notes about things that you can improve for other interviews.
  • Write a thank-you letter to the interviewer for expressing interest.
  • If you are offered the job position, one to two weeks is a reasonable time to make a decision and write a reply about the job.
